Leiija is a contemporary jewellery brand that connects semi-precious stones

with handcrafted jewellery. We gather our gems from all around the world,

mostly from the mines of Brazil and Africa. Each stone or crystal is carefully

selected to fit a certain collectivity. All of the pieces are handcrafted in

Kapalı Çarsı, Istanbul by our expert artisans. Our aim is to merge the

power of these crystals and stones with a contemporary design and the

handcrafting of master artisans.

Each crystal has different properties, and each design object has a

different story.

All quartz crystals have 6 primary properties. They are able to structure,

store, amplify, focus, transmit and transform energy. From early times to

the present, it is believed that crystals can have an impact on frequencies

that affects thoughts and emotions and they have been an indispensable

part of jewellery design.

The history of their use goes back to the beginning of humankind. Sumerians,

that used crystals for spiritual reasons and believed in their healing

properties.

Today’s healers agree on their special metaphysical properties. These
